I was leaning toward a beehive (with a quote and name-bees), but then I saw this project on My Mix of Six's blog:
...which I think my Mom would really love. Except there's always the difficulty of getting relatives to cooperate (my mom has been trying to get a group photo for years, but we can't seem to get everyone together and dressed appropriately at the same time). I think I can pull this off by Christmas, though, since it is individual photos of each person/family (so I can talk them into it individually over the year whenever I happen to see them). Goodbye Santa!!!
