Every year I make a big huge list of every skill that has to be learned and every topic that needs to be covered for homeschool. I'm generally pretty successful at spreading things out over the year, but there are always a few topics that I want to avoid, so I "save" those for the end. Which means extra fun for the last few weeks of the grade we're working on.
This year's "winners":
Ancient and medieval civilizations of Africa
Colonization and revolutions of South and Central America
Memorization of perfect squares and square roots up to 144
It would be helpful if I actually knew something about any of these...
