sign update

This is mostly for my own records, since I'm not sure where her baby book is right now...

WakeLee started doing a new sign today: MAMA!
I'm only counting signs if she does them in the correct context. I understand that she'll have her own version of some signs, but she was using the sign for "dog" in reference to a LOT of things (like Grandma) for a while, so we didn't count that.

So, as of right now (7 1/2 months) she's doing (correctly):

• Hi/Bye
• Yay (traditional clapping & also ASL version)
• Dog
• Mama
• Milk

We're thrilled with baby sign language!
