Binky clips

I saw a tutorial for these cute little "binky clips" on a blog called "Make it and love it" (they are those clips that hold the pacifier to your baby's clothes, carseat, whatever... to keep it from falling on the ground). I thought I'd give it a shot!

I picked up the materials at Walmart:
id badge clips: package of 12 for $2.44
3/8" wide ribbon: 12 foot roll for $1.97
large buttons: package of 3 for $1.96

Total cost to purchase supplies: $6.37*
But, this was enough materials to make 3 binky clips, and I have a LOT of the clips and ribbon leftover to make more of them, I just need to buy more buttons!

Anyhow, I broke down the cost per clip- and the total cost of materials per binky clip: $1.01*
Not too bad for adding to a baby shower gift (or keeping for your own baby!)

Skills required: hot gluing, tying a knot, attaching a snap or velco*

Here is a photo of some of the ones I made today...
*I actually cheated a little bit because I already have snaps and a snap-setter, so if you don't have those things, you will need to buy those too - or add velcro?
